MPO Software - Upgrades

The DVD includes the expanded MPO Star Catalog with ~300M stars.
The UCAC3 DVD from the USNO is included at no extra charge
DVDs are -R, which is the same format as DVD movies. This should help assure that your DVD player can read the disc

You must update all MPO programs to Version 10. Because of fundamental changes to core data files, it is not possible to have pre-V9 reside in the same directory tree.

Installing into separate directories could mean having duplicate files, totalling hundreds of megabytes, and conflicts among programs. It is not recommended that you run v9.x and v10 on the same machine since the data base engine uses the same "alias" to direct requests to files in given directories.

By running the two versions on the same machine, some data requests and writes could go to the wrong set of tables.
